Does Nioxin Cleanser/Scalp Therapy have cinnamon in it?

It says it has -cinnamidopropyltrimonium- in it, I ask because I'm highly allergic, and that word looks to close for comfort. Also, my hair has been falling out for about 2 months, pretty heavy, even after I switched shampoos about 2 weeks ago, any suggestions? Thanks!Does Nioxin Cleanser/Scalp Therapy have cinnamon in it?

YES! It is a derivative of Cinnamate which is a derivative of cinnamon. it is used to supliment melatonion for uva protection of hair.

I would switch to paul mitchells lemon sage thickening shampoo.
I really don't think so. One of the other stylists at my shop is highly allergic to cinnamon as well and has no problem using the Nioxin products. try doing a patch test on the back of your neck to see if you have a reaction to the product. You will know after a minute if you are allergic to it. Also this is the time of year (summer) when we shed, so unless your seeing blading spots on your head, it is normal to lose more hair now.
