Is it ok to take propecia and use nioxin shampoo/conditioner?

I've been on Propecia for going on two years (I'm 23 btw) and I recently stopped for about three weeks because of the way it affects concentration, focus, etc. Anyways I started losing my hair a lot since I stopped so I started again today. My barber reccommened I try Nioxin and since its much cheaper and not a prescription drug I would be much happier using that, But until I know if it works is it safe to use the two (Propecia/Nioxin) together?Is it ok to take propecia and use nioxin shampoo/conditioner?
