Is nioxin a good treatment for people with hairloss?

Apparently it is....I have a friend (woman) who uses it for her thinning hair and she says that she sees results, I know a few men that use it as well. It won't make you grow hair but it will strengthen what you have left....at least that's what I've heard!Is nioxin a good treatment for people with hairloss?
We have used it in my salon. It works ok. I was taught there is really no way to regrow hair on its own. You can get the Rogain but you will have to continually use it or it won't work. Once you stop your hair stops growing
