I'm not sure any really stop the hair from falling out but rather helps to grow more. But try finding both of their official websites and read up on it.
Rogaine has about 20 Years behind it proving that it will Stop the fall out process, in about 85 to 90 percent of those that start using it. But if You want to regrow it after stop the fall out process, start using Propecia, as well.

Nioxin is a great system. I use Nioxin Daily Cleanser daily, and Nioxin Scalp Therapy Conditioner once a week. I also use Rogaine on a daily basis. The Nioxin is great for preventive maintenance, and the Nioxin has regrown a substantial amount of hair. Use them together, and even though it hurts the paycheck, it's a great combination for the appearance of your hair.
